The countdown begins

The countdown begins...in three days, Evi's case will be reviewed by the Arizona Court of Appeals. For the past 3+ years, her case has been in the "system" of the state of Arizona. This little girl who we have loved since the day she was placed in our arms is not yet officially "ours". Through the past 3 years of hope and despair, joy and pain, frustration and encouragement, peace and uncertainty, we have loved her and raised her as our own child. On Wednesday a panel of three judges will read the briefs filed by all the attorneys and review the trial transcript. We are hoping and praying that they will affirm (agree with) Judge Araneta's decision from the court trial which will bring us one step closer to finalizing her adoption. We expect to hear the court of appeals decision in January. Please pray for our sweet little Evi!!!
